Dough Preparation
- 1
Activate Yeast
In a small bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until it becomes frothy.

Mix Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour and salt. Make a well in the center and add the frothy yeast mixture and olive oil.
- 3
Knead Dough
Mix until a dough forms. Transfer to a floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- 4
Let Dough Rise
Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
Topping Preparation
- 5
Prepare Vegetables
While the dough is rising, prepare the vegetables. Slice the bell pepper, red onion, zucchini, and mushrooms. Halve the cherry tomatoes.

- 10
Add Cheese and Vegetables
Sprinkle shredded mozzarella over the sauce followed by the seasoned vegetables. Top with fresh basil leaves.
