Method

Preparing the Steak

  1. 1

    Slicing the Ribeye

Thinly slice the ribeye steak against the grain into strips about 1/4 inch thick.

  2. 2

    Cooking the Steak

Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add olive oil. Once hot, add the sliced ribeye steak. Season with salt and black pepper. Cook for about 2-3 minutes until browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove from skillet and set aside.

Cooking the Bacon

  1. 3

    Frying the Bacon

In the same skillet, add the bacon slices. Cook until crispy, about 3-4 minutes on each side. Once cooked, place on paper towels to drain excess fat.

Making the Horseradish Mayo

  1. 4

    Mixing the Ingredients

In a small bowl, combine the horseradish and mayonnaise. Stir until well mixed.

Assembling the Sandwich

  1. 5

    Layering the Ingredients

Spread the horseradish mayo on one side of each slice of wild whiskey bread. On one slice, layer the cooked ribeye steak, followed by crispy bacon, and top with muenster cheese. Close the sandwich with the other slice of bread.

  2. 6

    Grilling the Sandwich

Return the sandwich to the skillet and grill on medium heat for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese has melted.
