Grilling Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Marinade

In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and juice of half the lemon.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Salmon

Place the salmon fillets in a large resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the salmon, ensuring each piece is coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

  3. 3

    Preheat the Grill

While the salmon is marinating, preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 400°F or 200°C).

  4. 4

    Prepare the Grill Surface

Lightly oil the grill grates using a paper towel dipped in olive oil to prevent sticking.

  5. 5

    Grill the Salmon

Remove the salmon from the marinade and allow any excess to drip off. Place the salmon skin-side down on the grill. Grill for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and has grill marks.

  6. 6

    Serve

Once grilled, remove the salmon from the grill. Squeeze the remaining lemon juice over the top and garnish with fresh dill if desired. Serve immediately.
