Method
Cauliflower Preparation
- 1
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- 2
Prepare the Cauliflower
Cut the cauliflower into bite-sized florets and set aside.
- 3
Make the Batter
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, cornstarch, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Gradually add water to the mixture, stirring until smooth.
- 4
Coat the Cauliflower
Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, ensuring they are well coated, then place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- 5
Bake the Cauliflower
Drizzle or spray the coated cauliflower bites with vegetable oil. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through.
- 6
Toss in Buffalo Sauce
Remove the cauliflower from the oven and place them in a large bowl. Pour the buffalo sauce over the baked cauliflower and toss until well coated.
Ranch Dressing Preparation
- 7
Mix the Ingredients
In a mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, sour cream, dried dill, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
- 8
Adjust Consistency
Add milk a tablespoon at a time until you reach your desired dressing consistency. Mix well.
- 9
Chill the Dressing
Refrigerate the ranch dressing for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld.
Serving
- 10
Serve the Bites
Serve the buffalo cauliflower bites hot with the ranch dressing on the side for dipping.
