Method
Cooking the Ribeye Steak
- 1
Prepare the Steak
Remove the ribeye steak from the refrigerator and let it sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes before cooking. This ensures even cooking.
- 2
Season the Steak
Generously season both sides of the ribeye steak with salt, black pepper, and the optional Cajun spice blend if desired.

Preparing the Eggs

Making the Biscuit
- 6
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C).
- 7
Mix Dry Ingredients
In a large bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt.
- 8
Cut in Butter
Add the cold butter to the flour mixture and cut it in using a fork or pastry cutter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- 9
Add Milk
Pour in the milk gradually and mix until just combined. Do not overmix.
- 10
Shape the Biscuit
Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and gently knead it a few times. Pat or roll it to about 1 inch thick and cut out biscuits with a round cutter.
- 11
Bake the Biscuit
Place the biscuits on a baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
