Preparing the Batter

Mix Dry Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt until well combined.

Combine Both Mixtures
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Gently stir until just combined; be careful not to overmix. Some lumps are okay.
Cooking the Pancakes

Heat the Pan
Preheat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat. You can lightly grease it with a little butter if desired.

Cook the Pancakes
Pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface and the edges look set, about 2-3 minutes.

Flip and Finish
Flip the pancakes and cook for another 1-2 minutes on the other side until golden brown. Remove from the skillet and keep warm.
Serving the Pancakes

Stack the pancakes on a plate, add a pat of butter on top, and drizzle with maple syrup to taste. Enjoy your fluffy pancakes!
