Prepare the Cheese
Grate the cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese and set aside.

Prepare the Jalapeños
Slice the jalapeños into rings. If you prefer less heat, remove the seeds.

Prepare the Guacamole
If using store-bought guacamole, ensure it is ready for serving. If making fresh, mash ripe avocados and mix with lime juice, salt, and diced tomatoes to taste.

Layer the Nachos
On a large oven-safe plate or baking tray, spread a layer of tortilla chips evenly.

Add Cheese
Sprinkle the grated cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese generously over the tortilla chips.

Add Jalapeños
Distribute the sliced jalapeños evenly over the cheese.
Baking

Bake the Nachos
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Place the assembled nachos in the oven and bake for 10-15 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Serving

Serve with Guacamole
Remove the nachos from the oven and let them cool for a minute. Serve hot with guacamole on the side.
