Method

Preparing the Tea

  1. 1

    Boil Water

In a medium saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil over high heat.

  2. 2

    Steep the Tea

Once the water is boiling, remove it from heat and add 4 tea bags. Allow the tea to steep for 5-7 minutes, depending on your desired strength.

  3. 3

    Remove Tea Bags

After steeping, remove the tea bags from the water and discard them.

Sweetening the Tea (Optional)

  1. 4

    Add Sweetener

If you prefer sweet tea, add your choice of sweetener (granulated sugar, honey, or Stevia) to the hot tea. Stir until fully dissolved.

Cooling the Tea

  1. 5

    Chill the Tea

Allow the tea to cool to room temperature, then transfer it to the refrigerator to chill for at least 1-2 hours.

Serving the Iced Tea

  1. 6

    Serve

Once chilled, serve the iced tea over ice in glasses. Add lemon juice, mint leaves, or peach slices for extra flavor if desired.
