Method

Preparation of Tilapia

  1. 1

    Marinate the Tilapia

In a bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well. Add the tilapia fillets to the bowl and coat them evenly with the marinade. Let them sit for at least 15 minutes.

  2. 2

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Ensure the grill grates are clean for optimal cooking.

Grilling

  1. 3

    Grill the Tilapia

Once the grill is hot, place the marinated tilapia fillets on the grill. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until the fish flakes easily with a fork. Remove from the grill and keep warm.

Preparation of Side Dish

  1. 4

    Steam the Broccoli

While the tilapia is grilling, bring a pot of water to a boil. Place the broccoli in a steamer basket and steam for about 5-7 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp.

  2. 5

    Season the Broccoli

Once steamed, transfer the broccoli to a bowl. Add butter and salt to taste. Toss to coat evenly.
