Preparation
- 1
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
- 2
Melt the Butter
In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt the unsalted butter. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
- 3
Combine Sugars and Eggs
In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Mix until well combined. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- 4
Mix Dry Ingredients
In another bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
- 5
Combine Wet and Dry Mixtures
Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Do not overmix.
- 6
Add Chocolate Chips
Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the batter.
Baking
- 7
Pour into Baking Pan
Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly with a spatula.
- 8
Bake the Brownies
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- 9
Cool and Cut
Remove from the oven and allow to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes. Then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before cutting into 24 pieces.
