Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Wash and Chop Vegetables

Rinse the romaine lettuce, cherry tomatoes, and cucumber under cold water. Chop the romaine into bite-sized pieces, halve the cherry tomatoes, and slice the cucumber into thin rounds.

  2. 2

    Prepare Hard-Boiled Eggs

Place the eggs in a saucepan, cover them with water, and bring to a boil. Once boiling, cover the pan and remove from heat. Let the eggs sit for 9-12 minutes before draining and cooling them in cold water. Once cool, peel and chop the eggs.

Assembling the Salad

  1. 3

    Combine Salad Ingredients

In a large salad bowl, add the chopped romaine lettuce, halved cherry tomatoes, cucumber slices, bacon bits, bleu cheese crumbles, and chopped hard-boiled eggs.

Making the Dressing

  1. 4

    Mix Dressing Ingredients

In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, red wine vinegar, Dijon mustard, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

Serving

  1. 5

    Dress the Salad

Drizzle the dressing over the salad and toss gently to combine. Serve immediately.
