Method
Pasta Preparation
- 1
Cook the Pasta
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 10-12 minutes. Drain and set aside.
Chicken Preparation
- 2
Prepare the Chicken
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Place the chicken breasts on a half-sheet pan. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Rub the spices all over the chicken to ensure even coating.
- 3
Bake the Chicken
Bake the chicken in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Remove from the oven and let rest for a few minutes before slicing.
Alfredo Sauce Preparation
- 4
Make the Alfredo Sauce
In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine. Bring to a gentle simmer and let cook for 2-3 minutes.
- 5
Add Cheese and Season
Gradually whisk in the grated Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth. Season with salt and black pepper. If the sauce is too thick, you can thin it out with a little pasta water.
Combining and Serving
- 6
Combine Everything
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked fettuccine, sliced chicken, and Alfredo sauce. Toss gently until everything is well coated.
- 7
Garnish and Serve
Plate the Chicken Alfredo pasta and garnish with chopped parsley. Serve immediately and enjoy!
