Method

Cheeseburger

  1. 1

    Prepare the beef patties

In a bowl, mix the ground beef with salt and black pepper. Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape them into patties.

  2. 2

    Cook the patties

Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.

  3. 3

    Add cheese

In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty. Cover the grill or skillet to melt the cheese.

  4. 4

    Assemble the burger

Toast the burger buns lightly on the grill or in a toaster. Place a lettuce leaf on each bun, followed by the cheeseburger patty, tomato slice, and onion slice. Add ketchup and mustard to taste, then top with the other half of the bun.

Fries

  1. 5

    Prepare the potatoes

Wash and peel the potatoes. Cut them into thin strips to resemble fries.

  2. 6

    Season the fries

In a bowl, toss the cut potatoes with olive oil, salt, and paprika until evenly coated.

  3. 7

    Bake the fries

Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Spread the fries in a single layer on a baking sheet and bake for about 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.

Serve

  1. 8

    Plate the meal

Serve the cheeseburger hot with a side of fries and a dill pickle on the plate.
