Champagne

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Chill the Champagne

Place the bottle of Champagne in a wine cooler or an ice bucket filled with ice and water for about 20-30 minutes before serving to ensure it is properly chilled.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Juice

If using fresh oranges, squeeze enough oranges to yield 1 cup of juice. Strain the juice through a fine mesh sieve to remove any pulp or seeds, if desired.

Serving

  1. 3

    Pour and Serve

Open the chilled bottle of Champagne carefully to avoid spilling. Pour the Champagne into flutes, filling each glass about two-thirds full. Serve the fresh orange juice in a separate glass or pour a splash into each flute for a mimosa-style drink.
