Beef Patty Preparation

Prepare the Jalapeños
Finely chop 2 whole jalapeños and set aside.

Mix Beef Patty Ingredients
In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, chopped jalapeños, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly combined.

Form Patties
Divide the beef mixture into four equal portions and shape each into a half-pound patty, ensuring they are slightly thicker in the center.
Sautéed Shrimp Preparation

Cook Shrimp
Once the oil is hot, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Add the shrimp and 2 teaspoons of Cajun seasoning. Cook for 4-5 minutes or until the shrimp are pink and opaque, stirring occasionally.
Assembly

Add Cheese
In the last minute of cooking, top each patty with a slice of Monterey Jack cheese and cover to melt.

Toast Burger Buns
Toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.

Assemble the Burger
On the bottom half of each toasted bun, place a lettuce leaf, followed by the grilled beef patty with melted cheese, sautéed shrimp, sliced tomato, and additional jalapeños. Top with the other half of the bun.
