Buffalo Chicken Wings
Blue Cheese Dressing
Method
Buffalo Chicken Wings
- 1
Preparation of Chicken Wings
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top. This will help the wings cook evenly and become crispy.
- 2
Season the Wings
In a large bowl, toss the chicken wings with vegetable oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper until they are well coated.
- 3
Bake the Wings
Arrange the seasoned chicken wings in a single layer on the wire rack. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the wings are crispy and cooked through.
- 4
Prepare the Sauce
While the wings are baking, combine the hot sauce and melted butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Stir until well mixed and heated through.
- 5
Coat the Wings
Once the wings are done baking, transfer them to a large bowl and pour the hot sauce mixture over them. Toss to coat the wings evenly.
Blue Cheese Dressing
- 6
Combine Ingredients
In a mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, sour cream, crumbled blue cheese, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
- 7
Mix Well
Stir all the ingredients together until smooth. Adjust seasoning if necessary.
- 8
Chill
Refrigerate the blue cheese dressing for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
