Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Chicken Wings

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. This helps to achieve crispy skin.

  2. 2

    Season the Wings

In a large bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Add the chicken wings and toss until they are evenly coated with the seasoning mix.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Bake the Wings

Arrange the seasoned chicken wings in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, turning halfway through, until the wings are crispy and golden brown.

  2. 4

    Glaze with BBQ Sauce

During the last 10 minutes of baking, remove the wings from the oven and brush them generously with BBQ sauce. Return them to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes to caramelize the sauce.

Serving

  1. 5

    Prepare the Sides

While the wings are baking, cut the celery stalks into sticks and arrange them on a serving platter. Pour the ranch dressing into a small bowl for dipping.

  2. 6

    Serve the Wings

Once the wings are done, remove them from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes. Serve hot alongside the celery sticks and ranch dressing.
