Cooking Instructions

1

Preparation

In a large bowl, combine the flour, cornmeal, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Mix well.

2

Batter Mixing

In another bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk until smooth. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.

3

Coating the Crab Claws

Dip each crab claw into the batter, ensuring they are fully coated.

4

Frying (or Broiling)

For frying, heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, carefully place the coated crab claws in the oil and fry for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown. For broiling, preheat the broiler, place the crab claws on a baking sheet, and broil for about 10-12 minutes, turning once halfway through.

5

Serving

Remove the crab claws from the oil or broiler and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil. Serve hot on a platter with your favorite dipping sauce.
