Method
Preparing the Burger
- 1
Form the Patties
In a mixing bowl, take 1 pound of ground beef and season with salt and pepper. Divide the meat into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a patty, making a slight indentation in the center of each to prevent bulging during cooking.

- 3
Grill the Patties
Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Place the patties on the grill and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium doneness. In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty to melt.
Assembling the Burger
- 4
Prepare the Brioche Buns
While the patties are cooking, slice the brioche buns in half. Toast them on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.
- 5
Build the Burger
On the bottom half of each toasted brioche bun, place a cooked patty with melted cheddar cheese. Top with a layer of crispy bacon, followed by a generous drizzle of BBQ sauce, a handful of fried onion straws, and a layer of pickles. Finally, place the top half of the brioche bun to complete the burger.
