Method

Chicken Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Chicken

Begin by seasoning the chicken breasts with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.

  2. 2

    Set Up Breading Station

Set up a breading station with three bowls: one with flour, one with a beaten egg, and one with breadcrumbs.

  3. 3

    Bread the Chicken

Coat each chicken breast in flour, dip it into the egg, and finally coat it in breadcrumbs. Ensure an even coating.

  4. 4

    Fry the Chicken

In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, carefully place the breaded chicken breasts into the skillet. Cook for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Internal temperature should reach 165°F (75°C).

  5. 5

    Drain the Chicken

Remove the chicken from the skillet and place it on a paper towel-lined plate to drain any excess oil.

Sandwich Assembly

  1. 6

    Prepare the Buns

Slice the brioche buns in half if they aren't pre-sliced. Optionally, toast the insides on a skillet or toaster.

  2. 7

    Spread Mayonnaise

Spread 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise on the inside of each bun half.

  3. 8

    Layer Ingredients

On the bottom half of each bun, layer the fried chicken breast, followed by lettuce, tomato slices (cut the tomato into rounds), and pickle slices.

  4. 9

    Assemble the Sandwich

Place the top half of the bun on each sandwich and press gently to secure the ingredients.

Serving Suggestions

    Choose a Side

Serve the sandwich with a side of fries or coleslaw, as preferred. You can also add more pickles or sauce on the side.
