Preparation of Shrimp

Clean the Shrimp
Rinse the gulf shrimp under cold water and remove the shells, leaving the tails intact. Devein the shrimp by making a shallow cut along the back and removing the intestinal tract.

Making Tartar Sauce

Combine Ingredients
In a mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, dill pickle relish, fresh lemon juice, capers, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until fully blended.

Chill
Cover and refrigerate the tartar sauce for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld.
Making Cocktail Sauce

Combine Ingredients
In a bowl, mix together ketchup, horseradish, fresh lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper. Stir until well combined.

Taste and Adjust
Taste the cocktail sauce and adjust seasoning with more salt or pepper if desired.
Serving

Plate the Shrimp
Serve the grilled or fried shrimp on a plate with your choice of two sides.
