Method

Preparing the Salad

  1. 1

    Wash and Chop Romaine

Rinse the romaine lettuce under cold water to remove any dirt. Shake off excess water and chop the lettuce into bite-sized pieces.

  2. 2

    Mix in Dressing

In a large bowl, combine the chopped romaine lettuce with the Caesar dressing. Toss until the lettuce is evenly coated.

  3. 3

    Add Parmesan Cheese

Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the dressed lettuce and gently toss to combine.

Making the Crostini

  1. 4

    Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. 5

    Slice the Baguette

Cut the baguette into 1/2-inch thick slices. Arrange the slices on a baking sheet.

  3. 6

    Season Crostini

Drizzle the olive oil over the baguette slices. Sprinkle with garlic powder and salt to taste.

  4. 7

    Bake Crostini

Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for about 8-10 minutes, or until the crostini are golden and crispy.

Serving

  1. 8

    Plate the Salad

Divide the Caesar salad among serving plates.

  2. 9

    Top with Crostini

Place the baked crostini on top of the salad or serve them on the side for dipping.
