Brioche Buns

Cheddar and Onions

Condiments and Garnishes

Method

Prepare the Onions

1

Caramelize the Onions

Slice the yellow onions thinly. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the onions and sugar. Cook, stirring occasionally, for about 20-25 minutes until the onions are soft and caramelized. Remove from heat and set aside.

Prepare the Patties

2

Form the Beef Patties

In a large bowl, mix the American Wagyu ground beef with salt and black pepper. Divide the mixture into 12 equal portions and form into patties, making them slightly larger than the brioche buns as they will shrink while cooking.

3

Cook the Patties

Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 3-4 minutes on one side, then flip and top each patty with a slice of cheddar cheese. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the patties are cooked to your desired doneness.

Prepare the Buns

4

Toast the Brioche Buns

While the patties are cooking, melt the unsalted butter in another skillet or on the grill. Slice the brioche buns in half and toast them in the melted butter until golden brown.

Assemble the Sliders

5

Build the Sliders

On the bottom half of each toasted brioche bun, place a lettuce leaf, a cooked patty with melted cheddar, and a generous spoonful of caramelized onions. Add ketchup, mustard, and pickles as desired. Top with the other half of the bun.
