Preparation of Coffee

  1. 1

    Brew the Espresso

Brew 1 cup of strong espresso coffee and let it cool slightly.

  2. 2

    Mix with Liqueur

In a shallow dish, combine the brewed espresso with 1 tablespoon of coffee liqueur.

Cream Mixture

  1. 3

    Whisk the Egg Yolks

In a medium bowl, whisk together the 3 egg yolks and 100g of granulated sugar until the mixture is pale and creamy.

  2. 4

    Add Mascarpone

Gently fold in the 500g of mascarpone cheese until smooth and well combined.

  3. 5

    Whip the Heavy Cream

In a separate bowl, whip 1 cup of heavy cream until soft peaks form.

  4. 6

    Combine Mixtures

Fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until fully incorporated.

  5. 7

    Add Vanilla

Stir in 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.

Quickly dip each ladyfinger biscuit into the coffee mixture, ensuring they are soaked but not soggy.
