Preparation of Coffee

Brew the Espresso
Brew 1 cup of strong espresso coffee and let it cool slightly.

Mix with Liqueur
In a shallow dish, combine the brewed espresso with 1 tablespoon of coffee liqueur.

Whisk the Egg Yolks
In a medium bowl, whisk together the 3 egg yolks and 100g of granulated sugar until the mixture is pale and creamy.

Add Mascarpone
Gently fold in the 500g of mascarpone cheese until smooth and well combined.

Whip the Heavy Cream
In a separate bowl, whip 1 cup of heavy cream until soft peaks form.

Combine Mixtures
Fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until fully incorporated.

Add Vanilla
Stir in 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.

Dip the Ladyfingers
Quickly dip each ladyfinger biscuit into the coffee mixture, ensuring they are soaked but not soggy.

Layer the Tiramisu
In a rectangular dish, create a layer of soaked ladyfingers, followed by a layer of the cream mixture. Repeat the process until all ingredients are used, finishing with the cream mixture on top.
Chilling and Serving

Chill the Tiramisu
Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.

Before serving, dust the top of the tiramisu with 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder and garnish with dark chocolate shavings.
