Main Ingredients

Lemon Butter Sauce

Method

Preparing the Salmon

  1. 1

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, about 375-400°F (190-200°C).

  2. 2

    Season the Salmon

Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Rub both sides with olive oil, salt, and black pepper.

Grilling the Salmon

  1. 3

    Grill the Salmon

Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the grill. Grill for about 6-8 minutes on one side.

  2. 4

    Flip and Finish Grilling

Carefully flip the fillets using a spatula and grill for another 4-6 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

Making the Lemon Butter Sauce

  1. 5

    Melt the Butter

In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter.

  2. 6

    Add Garlic

Once the butter is melted, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

  3. 7

    Add Lemon Juice and Zest

Stir in the lemon juice and lemon zest, cooking for an additional minute.

  4. 8

    Finish with Parsley

Remove from heat and stir in the fresh parsley. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serving the Dish

  1. 9

    Plate the Salmon

Transfer the grilled salmon fillets to a serving plate.

  2. 10

    Drizzle Sauce

Generously drizzle the lemon butter sauce over the salmon before serving.
