Method

Base & Citrus

1

Measure and juice

Measure 1 oz fresh lime juice and 0.5 oz fresh lemon juice. Add them to a cocktail shaker or mixing glass.

2

Pour in 3 oz white grape juice and 0.75 oz simple syrup. These form the sweet-tart backbone of Mama's White.

Herbal & Aromatic

3

Muddle herbs

Place 6 fresh mint leaves and the optional basil leaf in the shaker. Add 0.25 oz vanilla syrup. Gently muddle 6–8 times to release oils—do not over-muddle into a pulp.

4

Briefly swirl the juices with the muddled herbs to allow aromatics to infuse for about 15–20 seconds.

Mixing & Chilling

5

Fill the shaker with about 1 cup of ice, cap it, and shake vigorously for 8–10 seconds until the outside of the shaker feels cold.

6

Strain the mixture into a chilled Collins glass or highball glass filled with fresh ice. Use a fine strainer if you want to keep herb fragments out.

Carbonation & Finish

7

Top the strained mocktail with 2 oz chilled club soda and 2 oz chilled sparkling water (or sparkling white grape for sweeter finish). Gently stir once with a bar spoon to combine without flattening the bubbles.

8

Garnish with a lime wheel or a fresh mint sprig. Serve immediately.
