Preparation

Cook the Pasta
In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Prepare the Chicken and Shrimp
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Add the chicken breast and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Season with salt and black pepper. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

Cook the Shrimp
In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil and the shrimp. Cook until the shrimp turn pink and are cooked through, about 3-4 minutes. Remove and set aside.
Sautéing Vegetables

Sauté the Vegetables
In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Then add the broccoli florets and cook for 3-4 minutes until they are vibrant and tender.

Combine Ingredients
Add the cooked pasta, chicken, and shrimp back into the skillet with the sautéed vegetables. Pour in the halved cherry tomatoes and mix everything well. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
Serving

Garnish and Serve
Remove from heat, sprinkle with chopped parsley and grated Parmesan cheese. Serve immediately while hot.
