Prep
- 1
Wash and prepare berries
Rinse all berries under cold running water and drain in a colander. Pat dry gently with a clean towel. Hull and quarter the strawberries; leave smaller berries whole. Place berries in a medium bowl.
- 2
Fruit dressing (optional, for macerated berries)
- 3
If you prefer brighter, slightly syrupy berries, toss the prepared berries with 1 teaspoon of honey and 1/2 teaspoon lemon zest. Gently fold and let sit at room temperature for 10–15 minutes to macerate. If you want the berries plain, skip this step.
Assemble
- 4
Flavor the yogurt
In a medium bowl, stir the Greek yogurt with the vanilla extract and the 1 teaspoon lemon zest (if using) until smooth and lightly whipped.

Finish with toppings
Drizzle 1 tablespoon of honey over each portion. Sprinkle the toasted nuts and chia or flaxseed evenly. Garnish with fresh mint leaves and a light dusting of extra lemon zest or grated dark chocolate if desired.
Serve & store

Serve immediately for best texture. If making ahead, keep the yogurt base chilled and store berries separately in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours; assemble just before serving to keep nuts crunchy.
