Cocktail

Method

Cocktail

1

Chill glass (optional)

If desired, place a Champagne flute or coupe in the freezer for 5–10 minutes or fill the glass with ice and cold water while preparing the other ingredients to ensure the cocktail stays chilled.

2

Prepare garnishes

Thread 2 fresh raspberries onto a cocktail pick or keep them loose. If using a lemon twist, use a vegetable peeler or paring knife to cut a 1/2-inch-wide twist and gently express the oils over the glass.

3

Measure liqueur

Pour 15 ml (about 1/2 fl oz) of Chambord into the bottom of the chilled Champagne flute or coupe.

4

Add Prosecco

Slowly pour 125 ml of well-chilled Prosecco down the side of the glass onto the Chambord. Pour gently to preserve carbonation and create an attractive ribboning effect as the liqueur rises through the sparkling wine.

5

Garnish and serve

Drop the raspberry garnish into the drink or place it on the rim. Add the lemon twist on the rim or drop it into the glass if you prefer. Serve immediately while effervescent.
