Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Bacon
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the applewood smoked bacon until crispy, about 6-8 minutes. Remove from heat and let it cool on paper towels. Once cooled, chop into small pieces.
- 2
Prepare the Lettuce
While the bacon is cooking, remove the outer leaves of the iceberg lettuce and rinse the remaining head under cold water. Cut the lettuce into quarters, creating wedges.
- 3
Prepare the Vegetables
Rinse the cherry tomatoes under cold water and slice them in half.
Assembly
- 4
Assemble the Salad
On a serving plate, place one quarter of the iceberg lettuce. Top with a generous amount of cherry tomatoes, sprinkle bleu cheese crumbles over the top, and add the chopped bacon pieces.
- 5
Dress the Salad
Drizzle ranch dressing over the assembled wedge salad to taste. Repeat the assembly for any remaining wedges.
