Method
Spinach Dip Directions
- 1
Prepare the Spinach
Wash the fresh spinach leaves thoroughly. In a large pot, bring water to a boil and blanch the spinach for about 2 minutes until wilted. Drain and cool under cold water. Squeeze out excess moisture and chop finely.
- 2
Mix the Ingredients
In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise. Mix until smooth. Add the chopped spinach, minced garlic cloves, Parmesan cheese, salt, black pepper, red pepper flakes, and dried Italian herbs. Stir until all ingredients are well combined.
- 3
Chill the Dip
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld.
Crostini Directions
- 4
Prepare the Baguette
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice the baguette diagonally into 1/2 inch thick slices.
- 5
Season the Crostini
In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and dried Italian herbs. Brush this mixture onto both sides of each baguette slice.
- 6
Bake the Crostini
Place the baguette slices on a baking sheet in a single layer. Bake in the preheated oven for about 8-10 minutes, or until golden and crispy, flipping halfway through.
