Salad Base

Method

Salad Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Iceberg Lettuce

Remove any outer leaves from the iceberg lettuce. Cut the head of lettuce into quarters, creating wedge shapes. Rinse each wedge under cold water to remove any dirt, then pat dry with a paper towel.

  2. 2

    Cook the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon slices until crispy, about 6-8 minutes. Flip occasionally for even cooking. Once cooked, transfer the bacon to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess grease. Once cooled, crumble the bacon into bite-sized pieces.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Tomatoes

Wash the cherry tomatoes, then slice them in half. Set aside.

Dressing Preparation

  1. 4

    Make the Caesar Dressing

In a mixing bowl, combine the mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper. Whisk together until smooth and well blended. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.

Assembly

  1. 5

    Assemble the Wedge Salad

On a serving plate, place one wedge of iceberg lettuce. Drizzle a generous amount of the creamy Caesar dressing over the wedge. Top with crumbled bacon and halved cherry tomatoes. Repeat for each wedge. Serve immediately and enjoy!
