Method
Preparing the Salad Base
- 1
Wash and dry the lettuce
Start by washing the iceberg lettuce thoroughly under cold water to remove any dirt or debris. Shake off excess water and pat dry with a clean towel.
- 2
Cut the lettuce into wedges
Cut the iceberg lettuce into wedges, about 4-6 wedges per head, depending on the size. Arrange the wedges on a large serving platter.
- 3
Prepare the cherry tomatoes
Wash the cherry tomatoes and slice them in half. Set aside.
Cooking the Bacon
- 4
Cook the bacon
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon slices until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Flip the slices occasionally for even cooking.
- 5
Making the Dressing
- 6
Mix the base of the dressing
In a medium bowl, combine the mayonnaise, lemon juice, minced garlic, anchovy paste, and Worcestershire sauce.
- 7
Season the dressing
Whisk the mixture until smooth and creamy. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Adjust the flavors as needed.
Assembling the Salad
- 8
Dress the lettuce
Drizzle the creamy Caesar dressing generously over the iceberg lettuce wedges.
- 9
Add toppings
Sprinkle the crumbled bacon and halved cherry tomatoes over the dressed lettuce. Top with shredded Parmesan cheese.
- 10
Serve the salad
Serve immediately and enjoy your signature wedge salad.
