Preparation of Berries

Wash and Prepare Berries
Rinse the strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries under cold water. Gently pat them dry with a paper towel.

Slice Strawberries
Remove the green tops from the strawberries and slice them into halves or quarters, depending on their size.
Making Vanilla Whipped Cream

Whip the Cream
In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of heavy whipping cream, 2 tablespoons of powdered sugar, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.

Beat Until Stiff Peaks Form
Using an electric mixer, whip the mixture on medium-high speed until soft peaks form, then increase to high speed and continue whipping until stiff peaks form. Be careful not to overwhip.
Assembly

Combine Berries
In a large serving bowl or individual dessert dishes, combine the prepared strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries.

Top with Whipped Cream
Spoon the whipped cream generously over the berries.

Place fresh mint leaves on top of the whipped cream for garnish.
