Start by seasoning the chicken breasts with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder on both sides.

Set up a dredging station with three bowls: one with buttermilk, the second with flour, and the third with a mixture of flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.

Coat the Chicken
Dip each seasoned chicken breast into the buttermilk, then dredge in the flour mixture until well coated.

Fry the Chicken
In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, carefully add the coated chicken; fry until golden brown on both sides, about 5-7 minutes per side. Ensure the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).

Gradually whisk in the chicken broth, ensuring there are no lumps. Continue to cook until the gravy thickens, about 5 minutes.
