Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Grits

In a saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Add 1 cup of grits and reduce heat to low. Stir occasionally and cook for about 15-20 minutes until thickened. Add salt to taste.

  2. 2

    Cook the Eggs

In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Crack the eggs into the skillet and cook to your desired style (sunny-side up, over-easy, scrambled, etc.). Season with salt and black pepper.

  3. 3

    Cook the Sausage or Bacon

In another skillet, cook the sausage or bacon over medium heat until browned and cooked through. Remove and drain on paper towels.

  4. 4

    Prepare the Biscuit

Warm the buttermilk biscuit in the oven or microwave as per package instructions.

  5. 5

    Serve

Place the cooked grits on a plate, top with the eggs, and serve with the cooked sausage or bacon and the biscuit on the side.
