Prepare Taco Meat

Brown the Beef
In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula, about 5-7 minutes.

Add Seasoning
Stir in the taco seasoning and water. Mix well and simmer for about 10 minutes until the mixture thickens slightly.
Make White Queso Sauce

Combine Ingredients
In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the cream cheese, milk, shredded white cheddar cheese, diced green chiles, garlic powder, and salt.

Melt and Stir
Stir continuously until the cheese has melted and the sauce is smooth, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from heat.
Assemble Walking Taco

Prepare The Base
Open a bag of Doritos, Fritos, or mixed chips. Crush the chips slightly to create a base.

Add Taco Meat
Spoon the cooked taco meat over the crushed chips.

Drizzle Queso
Pour the white queso sauce over the taco meat.

Add Toppings
Top with chopped lettuce, diced tomatoes, and crumbled Cotija cheese.
