Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).

Prepare the Puff Pastry
Thaw the puff pastry sheet according to package instructions and roll it out on a lightly floured surface.

Cook the Beef
In a skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.

Add Seasoning
Stir in the salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix well.

Add Tomato Sauce and Cheese
Add the tomato sauce and shredded mozzarella cheese to the cooked beef. Stir until the cheese has melted and everything is combined.
Assembly

Fill the Pastry
Place the puff pastry sheet on a baking sheet. Spoon the beef mixture onto one half of the pastry, leaving space around the edges.

Fold and Seal
Fold the other half of the pastry over the filling. Press the edges to seal. You can use a fork to crimp the edges for a decorative touch.

Add Cotija Cheese
Sprinkle the cotija cheese over the top of the puff pastry.

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and puffed.

Once baked, remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh herbs before serving.
