Begin by chilling a rocks glass or an old-fashioned glass by filling it with ice water. Let it sit while you prepare the drink.

In a mixing glass, add 1 oz of gin, 1 oz of Campari, and 1 oz of sweet vermouth.

Fill the mixing glass with ice cubes. Stir the mixture gently for about 30 seconds until well chilled and diluted.
