For the Flat Iron Steak

Prepare the Steak
Take the flat iron steak out of the refrigerator and let it come to room temperature for about 30 minutes before cooking.

Rest the Steak
Remove the steak from the heat and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
For the Buttermilk Mashed Potatoes

Mash the Potatoes
Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot. Add buttermilk and butter, then mash until smooth and creamy. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
For the Parmesan Asparagus

Prepare the Asparagus
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Trim the woody ends off the asparagus.

Season and Roast
Place the asparagus on a baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle with salt, and toss to coat. Roast in the oven for 10-12 minutes until tender.

Add Parmesan
Remove the asparagus from the oven, sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the top, and return to the oven for an additional 2-3 minutes until the cheese is melted.
For the House Steak Sauce

Mix the Sauce
In a bowl, combine ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, and honey. Mix well until smooth.

Taste the sauce and add salt as needed. Adjust the flavors according to your preference.
