Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Beef Patties

In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix until just combined. Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape them into patties, about 3/4 inch thick.

  2. 2

    Cook the Patties

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Place the patties on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side. Flip the patties and place a slice of cheddar cheese on top of each. Cook for an additional 4-5 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).

  3. 3

    Cook the Bacon

In a separate pan, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove from heat and drain on paper towels.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Burgers

Toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster. On the bottom bun, layer the lettuce, cooked burger patty with cheese, bacon, tomato slices, pickles, ketchup, and mustard. Top with the other half of the bun.

  5. 5

    Serve

Serve the steak burgers immediately with your favorite sides.
