Cocktail

1

Prepare glass

Place the glass (highball or Collins) in the freezer for 5–10 minutes ahead of time to get it extra cold, or fill it with ice water while you prepare the ingredients, then discard water.

2

Chill ingredients

Ensure vodka and Red Bull are well chilled. Keep Red Bull cans refrigerated until just before mixing to preserve carbonation.

3

Build the drink

Fill the pre-chilled glass with 4 large ice cubes. Add 2 oz cold vodka, 0.5 oz fresh lime juice, and 0.25 oz simple syrup into the glass.

4

Top with Red Bull

Gently pour 4 oz chilled Red Bull over the back of a spoon or down the side of the glass to maintain effervescence. Give the drink one gentle stir (1–2 revolutions) to combine — avoid vigorous stirring to keep carbonation.

5

Garnish and serve

Garnish with a lime wheel on the rim and, if using, slap the mint sprig between your palms to release oils and tuck it into the drink for aroma. Serve immediately while cold and fizzy.

Optional Chill/Finish

6

For an extra 'zero chill' effect, consider preparing frozen vodka ice cubes ahead of time (pour vodka into ice cube trays and freeze). Use one or two vodka ice cubes in place of regular ice to avoid diluting flavor as they melt.

7

If you used the freezer-chilled glass method, remove the glass from the freezer just before building the drink to preserve the frosty rim.
