Method
Classic Frozen Margarita
Prepare glass rims
Run a lime wedge around the rim of 4 serving glasses. Pour coarse salt onto a plate and dip rims into the salt to coat. Set glasses aside.
Combine blanco tequila, triple sec, fresh lime juice, simple syrup and ice in a high‑powered blender.
Start the blender on low for 5–10 seconds to break up the ice, then increase to high and blend 20–30 seconds, or until the mixture is smooth and slushy. If too thick, add 1–2 tablespoons cold water and pulse once; if too thin, add a handful of ice and blend briefly.
Taste and adjust sweetness or acidity: add up to 1 tablespoon simple syrup for more sweetness or up to 1 tablespoon lime juice for more tartness. Pulse to combine.
Pour evenly into the prepared glasses. Garnish each with a lime wedge and serve immediately.
Frozen Strawberry Daiquiri
If using fresh strawberries, hull them and chill briefly. If using frozen, allow them to sit 5 minutes at room temperature so the blender can process them smoothly.
Add white rum, fresh lime juice, strawberries, simple syrup and ice to the blender.
Blend on low 8–12 seconds to break fruit and ice, then high 20–30 seconds until mixture is smooth and slushy. Scrape down the sides once if needed and blend again briefly.
Check texture and sweetness. If the daiquiri is too thick, add 1–2 tablespoons cold water and pulse; if too thin, add a few ice cubes and blend until desired consistency.
Pour into chilled glasses and garnish with strawberry or lime slices. Serve immediately.
Frozen Piña Colada
Place light rum, pineapple juice, cream of coconut, pineapple chunks and ice into the blender.
Blend on low to combine, then high for 25–35 seconds until very smooth and velvety. If the mixture seems too sweet or heavy, add 2–3 tablespoons cold water and pulse to lighten texture.
Taste and adjust: add a splash more pineapple juice for brightness or 1 tablespoon lime juice (optional) for acidity. Blend briefly to incorporate.
Pour into glasses and garnish each with a pineapple wedge and a maraschino cherry. Serve immediately.
Non-Alcoholic Frozen Limeade (Mocktail)
Combine fresh lime juice, simple syrup, cold water and ice in the blender.
Blend on low 8–10 seconds then high 20–25 seconds until smooth and slushy. If too tart, add up to 2 tablespoons simple syrup; if too thin, add a cup more ice and blend.
Pour into glasses and garnish with lime wheels. Serve immediately.
