Method

Sandwich

  1. 1

    Prepare the Sandwich

Take two slices of white bread and layer them with sliced roasted turkey. Top with homemade gravy and place another slice of bread on top. Repeat for the second sandwich.

Mashed Potatoes

  1. 2

    Make the Mashed Potatoes

In a large pot, boil the peeled and cubed potatoes until tender, about 15-20 minutes. Drain and return to the pot. Add butter, milk, salt, and pepper. Mash until smooth and creamy.

Stuffing

  1. 3

    Prepare the Stuffing

In a skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add diced onion and celery, sautéing until soft, about 5 minutes. In a bowl, combine the sautéed mixture with the stuffing mix and chicken broth. Mix well and transfer to a baking dish. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30 minutes, until heated through.

Popover

  1. 4

    Make the Popover

Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). In a bowl, whisk together flour, milk, eggs, and salt until smooth. Grease a muffin tin with melted butter and fill each cup about halfway with the batter. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the popovers are golden and puffed.
