Method

Cucumber Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Cucumbers

Wash the cucumbers thoroughly. Cut them in half lengthwise and remove the seeds with a spoon. Cut the cucumbers into half-moons or your preferred shape.

  2. 2

    Marinate with Harissa

In a bowl, toss the cucumber slices with the green harissa and salt. Allow them to marinate for at least 15 minutes to absorb the flavors.

Tzatziki Base

  1. 3

    Mix Tzatziki Ingredients

In a mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, minced garlic, chopped dill, lemon juice, olive oil, and black pepper. Stir until all ingredients are well mixed.

  2. 4

    Incorporate Marinated Cucumbers

Once the cucumbers have marinated, drain any excess liquid and gently fold them into the tzatziki mixture. Adjust seasoning to taste.

Pita Preparation

  1. 5

    Warm the Pita

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Wrap the pita in aluminum foil and place it in the oven for about 5-7 minutes, or until warm.

  2. 6

    Serve

Serve the tzatziki in a bowl alongside the warm pita for dipping.
