Preparation of Mushrooms

    Clean the Mushrooms

    Gently clean the large white mushrooms with a damp cloth to remove any dirt.

    Remove Stems

    Carefully remove the stems from the mushrooms and chop them finely. Set aside for later use.

    Brush with Olive Oil

    Place the mushroom caps on a baking sheet and brush the insides with olive oil.

Making the Stuffing

    Prepare the Filling

    In a mixing bowl, combine the crab meat, cream cheese, chopped mushroom stems, breadcrumbs, chopped green onions, minced garlic, lemon juice, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

    Fill the Mushrooms

    Spoon the crab mixture into each mushroom cap, packing it slightly to ensure they are well filled.

Baking

    Sprinkle the stuffed mushrooms with Parmesan cheese and a pinch of paprika for color.
