Method
Preparation of Garlic Butter
- 1
Soften the Butter
Take the unsalted butter out of the refrigerator and let it sit at room temperature for about 15-20 minutes until it is soft and spreadable.
- 2
Mince the Garlic
Peel and finely mince the garlic cloves. You can use a garlic press for finer results if desired.
- 3
Chop the Parsley
Wash and finely chop the fresh parsley leaves, discarding the stems.
- 4
Mix Ingredients
In a medium bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
Assembling the Garlic Bread
- 5
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) to prepare for toasting the bread.
- 6
Slice the Baguette
Using a serrated knife, slice the French baguette in half lengthwise. You can also slice it into smaller pieces if you prefer individual servings.
- 7
- 8
Toast the Bread
Place the buttered baguette halves on a baking sheet and put them in the preheated oven. Toast for about 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and crispy.
- 9
Serve
Remove the garlic bread from the oven, let it cool slightly, then slice into pieces if not already done. Serve warm and enjoy!
