Method
Cocktail
- 1
Combine base spirits and modifiers
Add 2 oz gin, 0.5 oz elderflower liqueur, 0.5 oz dry vermouth, 0.5 oz fresh lemon juice and 0.25 oz simple syrup into a cocktail shaker.
- 2
Add bitters and ice
Add 2 dashes of orange bitters and a handful of cubed ice (approx. 1 cup) to the shaker.
- 3
Shake vigorously for 8–10 seconds until the shaker feels cold to the touch.
- 4
Fill a chilled Collins or large wine glass with fresh ice. Strain the shaken mixture into the glass, leaving about 1.5–2 oz of headspace for sparkling water.
- 5
Top with 3 oz chilled sparkling water or club soda. Stir gently once to combine; do not over-stir, to preserve effervescence.
Garnish & Finish
- 6
