Method

Burger Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Tomato Compote

Chop tomatoes and cook them in a saucepan over medium heat with salt and pepper. Simmer for about 20 minutes until thickened.

  2. 2

    Grill the Onions

Slice the onions and grill them on medium heat until caramelized, about 10-15 minutes.

  3. 3

    Form the Patties

Divide the ground beef into 4 equal portions and form them into patties. Season with salt and pepper.

  4. 4

    Cook the Patties

Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on one side, then flip them, add raclette cheese on top, and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes or until desired doneness.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Burger

Toast the brioche buns. Start with the bottom bun, add lettuce, the beef patty with melted raclette, grilled onions, and a generous spoonful of tomato compote. Top with the other half of the bun and serve.
