Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Brisket

Trim excess fat from the brisket and rub it with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Ensure it is evenly coated.

  2. 2

    Smoke the Brisket

Preheat your smoker to 225°F (107°C). Place the brisket in the smoker and cook for 6-8 hours, or until it reaches an internal temperature of 195°F (90°C).

  3. 3

    Cube the Brisket

Remove the brisket from the smoker and let it rest for 30 minutes. Cut the brisket into 1-inch cubes.

  4. 4

    Toss in Sauce

In a large bowl, toss the brisket cubes with your choice of sauce until well coated.

  5. 5

    Sear the Burnt Ends

Preheat a cast-iron skillet or grill to high heat. Add the sauced brisket cubes and sear for 2-3 minutes on each side until caramelized and crispy.

  6. 6

    Serve

Remove from heat and serve hot as an appetizer or main dish.
